Algebra Quiz on Friday

Bonjour tout le monde,

There will be an Algebra quiz on Friday.

Students will solve simple expressions and word problems with variables using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. For example: 2x = 12  x= 12/2  x= 6

Grade 5 FI Trip to the ROM

Bonjour tout le monde,

The Grade 5 French Immersion students will be going to the Royal Ontario Museum on Thursday April 21st. The cost of the trip is $10.00. This trip will tie into our upcoming history unit as students will be participating in a lab activity and tour exhibits about life in New France. Please submit permission forms and money as soon as possible. Volunteers are welcome.

Grade 6 Science Centre Trip

Bonjour tout le monde,

Grade six students will be going to the Science Centre on Wednesday March 23rd. Along with touring the exhibits, they will be attending a space activity. The cost of the trip is $10.00. Please submit the permission forms as a soon as possible.

Grade 5 Science Test : Les Forces

Bonjour tout le monde,

The Grade 5 Science Test on Forces and Structures will take place on Wednesday March 23rd, when the grade 6's are at the Science Centre. Students have been given a list of what to study.

The test will consist of matching vocabulary words, and short answer questions.

-Ratios -Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing decimals
